︎ Celebrities Throw Party at Hunter College Gym, Students Now Ask they Pay for Repairs

Spring 2019
This video shows the hypocrisy and challenges students confront while administration is busy hosting famous celebrities on campus. 

The following is a list of people that attended the Gucci Met Gala afterparty, hosted inexplicably at Hunter College. In this video, I put forward a call to action to raise awareness of the conditions we are experiencing on campus. Donations to fix the Hunter College ceilings would be appreciated, too.

Strangely, social media shows that the daughter of the college president attended this high-profile event, while both students and faculty were excluded and uninformed. To this day, students have no idea how or if our academic community benefited from this deal due to the lack of transparency surrounding our university’s financial decisions. In this video, President Jennifer Raab is seen partying with her daughter’s friend in the Hunter gym.

Spring 2019
As mentioned in the ︎Starbucks Deal video, students celebrated the installation of alumna Nino Tsiklauri’s artwork in the Hunter College main lobby, before students lost access to this incredible space. Spontaneous dance broke out in the room and added some joy to our otherwise exhausting Spring 2019 finals week.

Fall 2019
The video essay continues with this exposition on the challenges Hunter College students face when walking through our crowded campus. In this video we also witness a lack of accountability and transparency when it comes to critical infrastructure repairs that are clearly behind schedule.

Spring 2020
This video covers a lot of ground. I realized many people who watch my videos do not attend Hunter, so here I include some suggestions for prospective students who have asked: is Hunter College worth it? I also reflect in this video on the 150th Anniversary of Hunter College, which was celebrated in February. Finally, I talk about the fact our college president is under review.
